Minimax - a fast 8 footer !
I've got a soft spot for these pocket rockets and thought it was time to put one out for sale.
Minimax is very simple to put together, and I've added some alignment holes to foolproof the setup. Suited to a small outboard from 3 to 15 hp Minimax will plane at about 5hp and rocket with a 15 hp outboard.
The plans are fully lofted at 1:1 and are spread across only 2 sheets 3' x 8'. The top deck is fully lofted and drawn "flat" so when formed it will form perfectly to shape.
I have added a transom brace only and removed the holes from the stringers to provide watertight compartments, this provides some 400kgs of buoyancy.
