Classic wooden boat plans is a collection of established wooden boat designs ranging from the early 1900’s to about 1970. Some of our own designs are Banshee, Custom Barrelback 19 and the Deep V inspired by the Donzi Sweet 16, Bantam. Other plans include Chris Craft, Hacker, Gar Wood, Riva, Switzer, barrel back, Baby Bootlegger, Flyer, Teaser.

Bantam 14 Runabout
Bantam is a 14 foot runabout with classic lines and a simple interior with 2 bench seats. A good beam at 5’ 10” should provide good stability and ample speed powered at about 50 Hp.
The transom is set at 12 degrees and suits long shaft outboards, short shaft will need cutting down accordingly. All cut outs for battens, chines, sheers etc are provided. There are 7 frames in total. set up is simple using the straight keel, all frames and components supplied as full size PDF files for printing.
Plans include DXF files for CNC cutting.
